The benefits are substantial: 

1. 10 FREE loyalty cards to sell or give away when you first join. Additional cards available at cost of £1.50 each inc. VAT for resale by you at £2.50 inc. VAT creating an instant revenue stream for your business. Selling 75 cards during the year will recoup your membership fee!
This will enable you to immediately begin offering loyalty incentives. This is the crux of the scheme, to create a network of independent establishments all working together for a common good, with the common denominator being the ShopLocal loyalty card.

2. Monthly E-mail marketing - to all ShopLocal businesses and card holders containing an updated participating business list complete with new special offers and discounts offered that month. This will also be available on the website.

Each month begins on the 14th and ends on the 13th of the following month. Winners will be contacted and presented with a cheque. 5. Database of local shoppers - within Data Protection Regulations, details of the loyalty cardholders will be available to SHOPLOCAL MEMBERS ONLY for marketing purposes.

7. A free website (domain name not included, £7 for 2 years if required) 250 designs to choose from with unlimited pages, linked from the ShopLocal website. Your website can be updated by you 24/7.

8. FREE Entry in the online business directory, you will be able to add business details, contact information and photographs. It will also contain an interactive map helping customers locate your business, and the option to add as many metatags to increase hits using the major internet search engines.
